The Lutheran High School Project of Dodge County

About the Project

The Lutheran High School Project of Dodge County seeks to establish a High School in which our local youth will be grounded in God’s Word and nourished by the tradition, beauty, and rigor of a classical education.

As the Lutheran High School Project continues to grow and develop, so will our website!

Our goal is to create a learning environment in which God’s Word reigns supreme. We recognize that the Word of God is the ultimate source of knowledge and the highest authority in all matters of faith and life. God’s command to teach the Word of God to children is a parent’s highest calling, and we seek to establish a school that will assist parents in this most important task.

Grounded in God’s Word

Our desire is to convey truth, goodness, and beauty to young people through real academic content, original texts, and fine art. We rejoice in the bright history of western civilization and will embrace the wealth that has been handed down to us through careful study of the Great Books, science, art, music, and much more.

Lasting Content

We intend to instill wisdom and knowledge in the hearts of our students that they might grow in virtue, piety, and Christian fellowship. As students hear the Word of God, the Holy Spirit enlightens their minds, grants them repentance and faith, and leads them to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Christian Community

Confessional Lutheran Identity

The Lutheran High School Project of Dodge County is a Confessional Lutheran organization. What does this mean?

We believe, teach, and confess that the 66 books of Sacred Scripture are the sole infallible authority on earth. The Bible is the norm against which all Christian Doctrine is to be judged (norma normans).

We believe, teach, and confess that the Lutheran Confessions are correct because (quia) they are in complete agreement with God’s Word, normed by the test of Scripture (norma normata).

The understanding that Scripture reigns supreme underlies the LHS project and all that we do.
